Freymuth-Frazier uses her compelling style to capture modern female
subjects. Breathing fresh air
into figurative painting, her subjects leap from the canvas in the edgy
styles of modern masters Steven Assael and Odd Nerdrum, but are truly
revealed in her sensual lighting— where hues delicately shift and
brighten against shadowed backgrounds.
Conventional elements of the present assume the exotic and
mysterious under Freymuth-Frazier’s brush, while traditions of female
subjugation and objectification subtly crumble. Much more than mere figure
studies, each subject exudes an expressive and commanding presence,
